B3K Prosperity appoints Justin Salters Interim Executive Director
Organization to launch search for first permanent CEO in Fall
Bakersfield, Calif. (Sep. 1, 2023) – The Leadership Council of B3K Prosperity today announced it has retained Justin Salters as its Interim Executive Director.
Salters succeeds J.P. Lake, who served as Executive Director for B3K Prosperity since early 2022.
“We thank J.P. for his service over the past eighteen months and look forward to his continued engagement with B3K Prosperity,” said Greg Bielli, President and CEO of Tejon Ranch and a member of the B3K Prosperity Leadership Council. “At the same time, we’re pleased to expand Justin’s role. He brings a deep familiarity with B3K Prosperity and an understanding of both the content and context of our work. We look forward to his leadership as B3K Prosperity navigates an evolution to meet our region’s critical need for economic development leadership.”
Salters, owner of a local strategic communications firm, has served as a consultant to B3K Prosperity since 2021.

B3K Prosperity expects to hire a permanent President and CEO within six months.
